Jerusalem Capital Development Fund is an organization dedicated to reclaiming and strengthening the Jewish presence in eastern (historic) Yerushalayim, greater Yerushalayim
and parts of Yesha. JCDF educates on the importance of a united Jerusalem both in ideology as well as in FACTS ON THE GROUND.
It coordinates research, encourages acquisition and advises on development, marketing, management and maintenance of properties and wasteland located in the area.
The goal is to ensure that Jerusalem remains the eternal and undivided capital of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
The Need
The demographic, economic and political future of historic Jerusalem is in jeopardy. The Jewish national aspiration is to ensure that Jerusalem remains united under Jewish sovereignty.
To achieve this we must create geographic and demographic contiguity throughout the eastern sector of the city, with a Jewish belt surrounding the Old City.
Jews must acquire land and properties presently under ownership of private, organizational, public (government), and non-Jewish bodies. These properties,
often occupied by Arab squatters, must be acquired for development and become Jewish residential and commerical areas.
The Opportunity
We now have a historic opportunity to widen and strengthen the Jewish belt in and around the Old City as well as to the north and south of the City. In this specific area
there are tracts of land and properties available for purchase and development from non-Jews, with many others under Jewish ownership, but presently occupied
by non-Jews. Jerusalem Capital Development Fund educates and acts to gentrify these areas and turn them into vibrant, modern Jewish neighborhoods.
On Yom Yerushalayim four years ago, a group of Jerusalem Capital Development Fund affiliated investors met with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
Mr. Sharon strongly encouraged Jerusalem Capital Development Fund ’s activities and gave his blessing to our vital work.
Mr. Sharon mentioned that before 1967 he had stood on Mount Zion surveying eastern Jerusalem. He remarked to his
son, “This area is ours, but it is not in our hands.” “Today,” he said to the group, “I would say that it is in our hands, but it is not ours!”
Structure
Jerusalem Capital Development Fund is a non-profit organization, under the direction of a voluntary Executive Advisory Board in Israel
comprised of multi-disciplinary professionals and an International Board of Trustees. Day to day management is carried out by experienced professional

Jerusalem Capital Development Fund is currently involved in more than 20 vital projects. Expansion through the involvement of prominent businessmen in
Israel and the Diaspora will enable unprecedented progress in saving historic Yerushalayim.
